#Indian#Steel#Industry has seen a rising #consumption, #demand and #exports in a substantial way in FY22; The issue remains is on costing of products primarily on account of #Coal whether its Coking Coal for blast furnaces or South African RB1/2 Coal for DRI kilns and even steel #scrap have taken large price jump and non-availability is another concern. #ferroalloys are getting good export orders from Europe at profitable prices added to that state government power tariffs are roof bound and can not be placed by domestic steel producers. #Steel has now tendencies towards serious #price#increase in the 3rd Quarter always and mostly in 4th Quarter of all fiscals. And its #inevitable as well but to #increase #prices as otherwise will result into negative margins especially for DRI segment and smaller industry in Alloy steels, Rebars, Wire rods, Squares, Pipes and tubes.
