Historic Picture in Advances for EOI bidding from Seven companies. Five domestic and two international companies are interested and SBI Caps to be calling Financial Bids (RFP) soon. Domestic and international steel giants have come forward to partner with the state government's ambitious Kadapa Steel Steel Plant (AP High Grade Steels Limited-APHSL). APHSL Managing Director S. Shan Mohan told Sakshi that five domestic and two international major steel companies have expressed interest in the tenders called for Expression of Interest (EOI) to join the project. Officials are surprised at the level of response to tenders that ended on July 31. Request for Proposal (RFP) tenders will be issued soon to come up with various financial proposals. SBI Cap, acting as Transaction Advisor, is preparing proposals for these tenders. It is known Honourable Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy laid the foundation stone on December 23 last year to build a steel plant on 3,591.65 acres in Sunnapurallapalli and Pedanandalur villages of Kadapa district with a capacity of 3 million tonnes per annum.
